Every lesson, practice question and game is free forever, offline, with no account. Kit the tutor and worksheet checking run on prepaid credits, never a subscription.
What Kit does
Sometimes a lesson needs one more explanation, in different words, right at the moment a child is stuck. Kit is a friendly tutor built into the lessons and the practice questions for exactly that moment. It reads the same slide, or the same question, your child is looking at, so its answers use the same examples and the same words.
Every lesson and every question is written to stand on its own, and works fully without it.
The second thing a credit buys is Kit marking. Photograph a worksheet your child has finished, and Kit reads the page, marks what it can, and explains each slip to you rather than to them. It is the same helper doing a different job out of the same credits, and it lives in the grown-up's section rather than in the lessons. The photo is what leaves the device for it, and a marking is only kept if you choose to keep one, on your own device.
What Kit will not do
- It will not hand your child the answer. Before a practice question is answered, Kit will not say which option is right, rank them, or rule any out. It explains what a word means and says the question in easier words, and that is all. Once your child has had a go, it teaches the whole thing properly.
- It will not wander off the lesson. Ask it about football and it brings the conversation gently back to the work.
- It is not there during a timed round. Speed practice stays speed practice.
- It never needs to know who your child is. What leaves the device is the work itself: the page or question on screen, which lesson it comes from, the question your child typed, the chat so far, and, once they have answered, the answer they chose alongside the app's own explanation of it, which is the only way Kit can teach a wrong answer. The app sends no name, no profile and no scores, and our server stores no conversations. The one name that can travel is one your child puts in the question box themselves.
- It leaves a record. Recent chats are kept on your own device, inside your backups.

Mark what school sends home, and see the week
Behind a PIN, in the same app, a side only you see. Photograph a finished worksheet and Kit marks what it can read, explains each slip in adult terms, and links to a lesson that helps. It also reports what your child did in the last seven days, in counts, never a score.

Prices in Australian dollars. Credits do not expire, and if Kit is ever discontinued we give 90 days' notice and refund what is unused. A fair usage policy applies: there is a generous daily ceiling on how much the three of them can do in one day, set well above any real day's use. The app itself stays free in full; Kit, worksheet checking and having a piece of writing read are the three optional extras, and the same credits pay for all three.
How much credit do I need?
A credit is a stuck moment, not a question. Your child does not spend one on every question they answer, only on the ones where they ask for help, so most of what they do costs nothing at all. That is the most useful thing to know before picking a pack.
For a sense of scale, the app holds 35+ lessons, 300+ teaching pages and more than 1,650 practice questions, and one credit covers one of those pages, or one of those questions, for as long as your key has credit on it. A worksheet photo, marked, is one credit too.
- 100 credits is a hundred separate moments of being stuck, anywhere in the app. It suits a child who is mostly getting on with it and needs someone to turn to occasionally.
- 250 credits is enough to work right through the lessons your child finds hard with Kit beside them, and still have plenty left over for questions elsewhere.
- 500 credits is enough that nobody has to think about it. Ask on any page, on any question, in any subject.
If you are unsure, start smaller. Nothing is lost by buying another key later, and a credit is only ever spent when something usable comes back: an answer from Kit, or a marked worksheet.
You are never charged for a failure. A photo Kit cannot read, or sending the same one again, costs nothing, and a whole conversation with Kit is one credit however long it runs.
QUESTIONS ABOUT CREDITS
How are credits charged?
For Kit, a credit is only ever spent once it has finished an answer. Opening Kit, tapping it by accident, or losing connection before an answer arrives all cost nothing.
One credit covers one lesson page, or one practice question, for as long as your key has credit on it. Every follow-up question about it is free, asking before your child answers and again afterwards is the same single credit, and coming back to that page next week costs nothing either while your key still has credit.
Checking a photo of a worksheet costs one credit as well, and only when marking you can use comes back: a photo too blurred, dark or cropped to mark, or a page with nothing on it to mark, costs nothing.
What do I get after purchasing?
On a first purchase, a key, sent by email, that looks like LK-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. A grown-up enters it once in the profile menu. That turns Kit on for everyone using the app on that device, and it opens the grown-up's section, where worksheet checking lives. If you gave us your existing key at checkout, you get no new key at all: the credits go straight onto the key you already have, and the email confirms that instead. Either way there is no account to create, no password, and nothing to install.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Kit stops offering to answer and says so plainly, and worksheet checking stops in the same way, including on pages Kit has explained before. Every lesson, every practice question and every game keeps working exactly as before, because none of them depend on either. When you want more, buy another pack and top up your existing key: everything Kit has already explained comes straight back, and so does worksheet checking.
Can I top up my key?
Yes. Buy another pack, and either enter your existing key at checkout when we ask, or add the new key from the profile menu in the app: choose Top up and the new credits join your existing key. Everything Kit has already explained stays unlocked, worksheet checking comes back with it, and every device in the family picks up the new balance the next time Kit is opened on it.
What is your refund policy?
If Kit is not what you hoped for, we will refund that purchase and take the credits it added back off your key. Nothing Kit has already explained is taken away. One thing worth knowing if you were topping up: if your family had already spent more than the top-up was worth, the balance goes to zero rather than negative, so you can be left with fewer credits than you had before you topped up. Get in touch through the contact form within a week of buying, and we will process it as soon as we can. You do not have to explain why.
